PC absurdity:

1. Her father says "You are worth ten as me". What a way of self-humiliating yourself to a daughter who spent her life trying to find you. Stupid. Value: -0.10 points
2. Also when he dies, he only sees in front of him images of Lara. Apparently, he didn't love her mother, he didn't have friends and didn't had any other highlits in life. Sad. Value: -0.10 points
3. Somehow there is a believable male character in the film, her asian sidekick. How? Value: +0.10 points 
4. Non-sexual, cold female with no interest in guys. Value: -0.50 points
5. Lara refuses her huge family fortune for stupid reasons. You can almost feel their fear of showing a "privileged", bilionaire Lara's adventures. "I believe my father is still alive", so they show her working asa a poor bike delivery girl. I don't buy that. Shouldn't she accept the money and use it to find her father?  Value: -1.00 points

Final Thoughts:

Usually PC means belietling male characters. But here, the damage goes to Lara Croft. No one I know would refuse the money. Because they feared protests over privilege, they made her not behave like any human being I know. And this damages her credibilty.
